originally planned on gong to cash in on my 1 codfish the Marine fisheries have so generously given us 2 weeks to fish for on the inside ledges and then fish flounder... scrap that plan with the forecast..

will go upriver and poke around the deeper holes with a jig and some wire instead. Might be a decent bass or 2 hiding there, will bring my fly rod, the river is loaded with "rats"

I've got to replace the 2 psi check valve that runs between my fuel and oil line/pump sometime this weekend to eliminate the excessively Smokey start up that I've been "living with" all summer..( the oil ring around the boat is also an indication)

Sunday.. bottling my Oktoberfest that's been aging for over a month..
drink some home brew and put my fall garlic crop in..have no interest in football or any sports right now.. so I'll "putter" around the yard and shop instead... maybe i'lll take the can -am for a shake down ride, ice fishing isn't all that far away.

A good run is better than a bad stand!
