I'm more worried about rain/sleet that freezes over.

Cool

...then it's time to break out the ice picks, the sledge hammers, thermite explosive, and the flamethrowers to thaw the drive way out.

Either that, or skate to work.

Actually, they're more useful for walking on slippery ice than hopping on a rocky jetty

Apparently they were first invented for roofers...

My driveway has about a 25% grade----Korkers aren't just a "good idea" they're a necessity

Screw the neighbors--they can't see me anyway. We don't even get trick-or-treaters cuz my driveway looks like the "Road to Nowhere".

Last year the neighbors did draw the line at me trying to break up an ice patch with some gasoline and some matches.

They got me a sledgehammer instead.

You think I'm joking?

Hmmm, good movies to rent today:

1) John Carpenter's version of "The Thing."

2) Ice Station Zebra. (or was that a book).

Talking No Quarter...

Close the door, put out the light.
You know they won't be home tonight.

The snow falls hard and don't you know?
The winds of Thor are blowing cold.

Thumbs up Todays movie recommendation

1) Lock, Stock and Two Smokin Barrels

2) Snatch

Same producer or director or whatever, similar movies, but both very good.

Sponge Bob is my favorite! I remember when they were showing previews of the cartoon before it began airing and I thought it was the stupidest looking show to come down the pike! When it came on I watched it with my kids and now I like it more than they do!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

FishWeeWee...love John Carpenters version of The Thing but I still like the original better! There is just something about older movies and the simplicity of them that makes them enjoyable to watch!

" Sponge Bob Big Fish." It has a nice ring to it.
