On a mooring, not a slip, but same, same when comparing to trailering, I think. I cannot imagine that launch/haul routine every outing. I would stress just thinking about it. Even adding the time spent prepping and cleaning the bottom to my getting to and from the mooring over the season, I think I am ahead of the game versus trailering...

So my mooring is in a shallow area of Salem side of Marblehead. It has maybe two feet of water below the transducer on a moon tide. So the water will get warmer than if in deeper water, or possibly be shaded if in a slip. Prevalent breeze here is SW, especially in afternoons. The reason I point out this information is because the growth on the starboard waterline was noticeably worse than on the port side.... Just an observation I found interesting and have spent some time pondering the reasons....
