Weekend Plans
Decent weather, early June, if the fishery wasn't in such sad shape this would be an absolutely killer time to be out.
Last couple days off and back to work.
What's up for the weekend?

Fish in the early morning and then have some folks over for the Belmont... from Saratoga! (Belmont Park is undergoing a major multiyear long renovation)
After watching an OTW clip on surfcasting from my part of the world, I realize my rock hopping days are likely behind me, so I need to figure out pricing for two Saltheart made rods; Allstar 1208 and Allstar 1265-2...
Someone from the Ocean state is headed up to the northshore tomorrow, hopefully returning home with a boat in tow.....
Here is the clip, which represents a great deal of the real estate I used to navigate. So reduce the surfcasting gear and add a boat rod, or two.

Planning to hit the surf tonight.. hoping my spots arent crowded.
( i just realized that the RISAA surf club challenge is this weekend... In years past, this tournament would mean tons of clubs and anglers all over, but we'll see how it goes. )

I am going to entertain myself and fish the east end of Horseneck tonight. I am camping there so it gives my something to do. Clamboil with friends tomorrow and absolutely nothing planned for Sunday.

The Belmont at a mile and a quarter just doesn't seem right.

Love that area, next kayak outing will be off gooseberry and out to hens and chickens. Always a fun mixed bag out there, but need lighter winds and the right tides to make that peddle. Golf tomorrow and maybe hit a local spot sunday after the rain blows out for smallmouth.
