I go into MGH this Friday for a procedure to help my emphysema symptoms. Stay three days for observation after four one way Zephyr Valves get inserted to my upper right lung. They will collapse that area of lung that has trapped air, which makes it difficult to get a full breath sometimes (at least for me.) I feel fortunate to be accepted into this Zephyr program and am getting the sense that I am among the more healthy patients to get this. Many/most are already on multiple liters of oxygen 24/7. If you know of someone suffering from emphysema or COPD, have them googly Zephyr Valves.

Geeesh ! Good luck with this Ross,,, fix one thing and sumpton else breaks……. It’s only gonna get worse, trust me I know…. ;-)
