Van, Thanks. That's not an Edson. I nearly choked when I saw the price of them as well. That's a Schmitt Wheel. Comes with or without the knob and also in the traditional destroyer wheel. These are about a third or less the cost of the Edson's. While the Edson's are a work of art, I just couldn't justify that kind of money. The Schmitt is very nice though and also has finger grooves underneath. I got this one for $94.50. My old one was cracked on the inner hub causing it to be a little sloppy. The previous owner neglected to change out the helm unit when it wore out and that just caused a lot of wear and tear on the old wheel so I figured while I was replacing the helm, I'd spring for a little nicer wheel. I really like having the knob especially for docking.
