There is a remote, slim, slight, sliver of hope that I may get out for a few hours on Sunday morning... I was thinking about hitting that on, eh-hem, secret spot. Anything happening down there recently? Any chance you and baitcaster may be down?

Good luck if you get out. Tight lines.

Hey Schoolie Monster, yes I will be there, have a client to take out, but Baitcaster has to work, so will be nice to know someone else will be there, if ya know what I mean. It has been productive there, not like the spring of course but it has been getting a little better ever time we are there, so definately worth a shot. I won't be getting there until about 9:15 so hope to see ya there, maybe will have a little bit of a snotty weather day, that would be good!!!!!!.

As you already know, it didn't work out... I couldn't sneak out.

Hope you had a good go at it. When do you guys head to the Vineyard?

RE:fisherwoman

Well hey, I'm headed to Florida from the 2nd thru the 11th, so I doubt I'll see ya before your trip. Good luck and good fishin'. Get some good pics.

We should definitely hook up a couple of times after you get back. Ms.Schoolie Monster wants to get out this fall, so maybe the four of us can go out once or twice.

Enjoy the Vineyard and good luck in the derby. And remember, don't come back bragging about all your fish... especially because this Florida trip is taking the place of my usual Nantucket excursion

Later.

Ahh Schoolie Monster, Nantucket sucks. You can't catch no freakin' fish there!!! Florida in September is better than Nantucket anytime!!! You should be at the Vineyard!!! Well, there is always next year ... Besides, Britta should have a blast hanging out with Mickey (Goofy being her dad, of course)...

Hey, I'm going to go to my spot, probably Wednesday night. It's been warming up nicely, interested???

RE:fisherwoman

Hey Schoolie Monster, would love to get together when we get back, have a couple of good spots to try that time of year, so we will definately get together. I will try and keep myself under control on MV, tehe!!!!

John, was out scouting today for that spot, but not sure if we are on target, is there by chance a rock pile there with a house on it surounded by water? Anyway Baitcaster and I did a little road trip down that way today but need to know for sure were you are talking about, we were thinking of going there tomorrow night, so let me know. Going out tonight to another spot, in that direction, so will let ya know how we do. Going to try my new black teasers that I just tied, hope they work good!!!!!

FW, yes and yes and yes and yes!!! I'm going to go there tomorrow night as well. The tide may suck as it will be low to start the incoming. I'll ask the Schoolie Monster if he's interested in chasing THE NOBLE STRIPED BASS before chasing those trash fish down south... E-mail me baby!!!

RE:fisherwoman

John, I think I may just be interested in a little big striper action tonight. Give me a buzz at work. When is the tide... around midnight? I'll go in tired tomorrow.

Fisherwoman, hope to see you tonight, if not, will definitely be in touch after your trip. Hopefully, that won't get here too quickly for ya though. May you catch many bass, many blues, and many albies... and even the odd bonito.

Later.

Fisherwoman: I will mention fishing tonight to K. but, it doesn't look good. Tuxes, Flowers, Cakes, Gifts, Readings, and all the last minute fun stuff. It would be nice to meet some other faces from this board. Do you think Rose would help my fishing? Good luck to all tonight!!!!
I will be swinging by the shop again tonight to see if the Combo is in. Same time as last night.

RE:fisherwoman

Thanks Squidmamma, Say hi to the big R. for us. Call us if you guys need anything from the mainland when we come over on the 25th. That goes for Fisherwoman and Baitcaster too.. You can leave a messsage on the Cell phone or the house phone. I will stop by Rick's before hitting the road for the ferry.

I am now seeing the world with a rosy tint. K. got me the sunglasses last night. They are great but, I think Fisherwoman is right and they may be too dark on an overcast day. It is the first pair of real polarized glasses I have owned and can't wait to get on the water with them. Just need to buy some type of neck loop so they don't fall in.

RE:fisherwoman

I need to patch my waders before MV, and check to see if it works. I was supposed to work this weekend but the fishing really seems to be heating up. Let me see, work, FISH,work, FISH. FISHING WINS... It all looks better from my new rosy perspective. A rose is not a rose, it is a striped bass.

You can see I don't want to be at work now.

How about a false albacore double with 12lb. test.
