Like I said, I'm not a parent and even if I was, I don't intend on judging one....I'm sure it's a very difficult and worry-full job...and your absolutely right, at a certain age...they begin to want their independence. My god-daughter is trying to spread her wings now...and I can understand that. Hopefully, her parents have installed the necessary tactics to keep her from harm's way. I speak to her about things like this from time to time but never feel it's enough. I coudn't ever do this, but at times I've thought about testing the situation...having a friend approach her to see her reaction, but the fear of her resenting me won't let that happen. I know you can't be with them 24/7, but hearing stories like this...get's me stupid
...and she's just my godchild, but d@mn..I love her like my own. I just get extra heated when I see the 5yr. olds., not that there's an age on being abducted...but it's like a wounded gazelle in an open field.
..I didn't want to add gloom to anyone's day, I'm sorry....but just thinking about it HEATS me up. Watching that short clip from the car-wash, thinking about how that young girl was feeling...the fear she must have had at that time...nevermind what
could have happened to her after. It's just crazy, that's all. Again, I apologize if I offended any parents...or brought up bad thoughts to anyone who may know this poor girl.
