Question Anyone Else Notice An Abundance Of 18 Ft. Lunds For Sale???

Must be something wrong with these boats as I have seen so many for sale here lately, and all of them with the 40 horse Honda motors.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Talking Search?

There is one for sale just below this thread here on Stripertalk, and two others for sale in the Classified Forum??? Thought you might want to know ML Jr. If those are already purchased, just sit tight, there will probably be one or two more popping up here for sale!

I owned a 20' lund for 5-6 years . Excellent boats. Gone 15-20 miles out to sea not up and down the coast. Always trailered it. Never had a pit in the hull. The boat served me well. Rivets never loose. They are a wet boat. Wave spray comes over the gunnels.

What you have to look out for when buying an aluminum boat is when and if they are bottom painted. some paints eat them out. Be leary of any aluminum boat kept at a dock or mooring electrolysis will do a job on them.
Also when ever you haul an aluminum boat out for storage take the battery out.

And when you are tryin' to sell one, maybe not list it too many times in the wrong place in the same place....might tip people off something is wrong with it.

Just because you see a boat in the for sale on the internet does not mean that it is still for sale.
Mine has been for sale for two years I sold it the first year. But won't take it out of the site. Some sites try to suck you in with there salesmanship, so screw em!!!

Toby all fish count.. as long as you didnt dynamite or shoot them.. boat sand whatever... fish are fish are fish...
Besides we all know that spring river fish dont count

And DMM, relax, you dont need to post your fishing resume; I dont care if you nantucket sleighrided giants in your boats...
I've done plenty of offshore, and to me, real fishing is whatever takes skill to do, on the right light tackle a 35lb striper is harder to land than an 80-140lb BFT winched in on 80's (yes I've done both)
Why dont you contribute and not get so defensive all the time, tell us about your BFT fishing from your boat etc... this is a friendly place, Bigfish is giving you a bit of ribbing, thats it, chill out....

Come on board DMM2784 and have some fun with us. RRH is right, just some light hearted ribbing is all. I apologize if I went overboard. No pun intended. I do wish you luck selling your boat though.

Chris, you are thinking of a helicopter lure. that is the go-to-plug of a boat fisherman!

I use fish decoys..
I have a female striped bass mount, it has make up and a dress on, looks like daisy bunny (bugs bunny's B-Day)
The male stripers, and the largest lesbian stripers swim right up to it, I reach over the side of my boat and grab em..
Do they count?
