A few years back I was chumming off a very long jetty in Rhode Island. It was at night and we were using Herring. Well we got a good suprise when a big blue dog came swimming by. It was cool to watch the shark from ten feet above the water's edge. I don't think I'd wade fish with a chum bag hanging off my side. We've all heard stories of guys being bumped in the night. It's yet to happen to me, but I don't want to encourage it.
