Thanks again for the great replies...we're planning on going out in the next couple of weeks or so, but as many of you know these trips can be difficult to plan.

Does anyone have any knowledge of any spots where cod can be caught from the shore????? I've heard rumors, but never experienced anything concrete. I'd love some info...on what I see as a fascinating possible fishery....
