You make it sound like a bad thing that you were catching sea bass and bloos and wolffish. That is still fun and sea bass are good eating. I never caught a wolffish so that would have been nice for me. Even though you didn't catch some cod be glad you caught something it could always be worse you could have gotten skunked!


I went freshwater fishing this afternoon which is something i seldomly do except during april as a warm up for saltwater but i caught a 2lb largemouth and a 4lb largemouth which happens to be the biggest i have ever caught. I also caught a big chain pickerel about 3lbs well its big to me thats another record breaker for me. can't you tell how much i fish freshwater? I had a lot of fun i didn't think i was gonna catch anything. So i will be headed back there tommorow morning for alittle more fun!! It gives me something to do since my saltwater season is over. I could go for togs but they are too easy to catch and most of the BIG togs are gone. So i'll give my fresh water pole a work out
