It goes on to talk about summer feeding grounds, holes, bars and prime structure. 30 pounders don’t get much notice, 40 may get a nod, 50 may make the paper. Talks about boat fishing and then…….surf fisherman… Among the best is Dave Manzi, a part time guide who consistently scores on big bass from the surf on plugs he often builds himself. Fish during the day in late May & early June and after dark in the summer. Then work the new moon tides after dark in Sept. & Oct. He mentions sweet spots and what’s hot….Large wooden Danny & pike plugs, and prime time is late spring and early fall.
