Chris is right, I do have a Breakaway factory rod. It is the 1209 spinner. I like it alot for jigging in the canal. It will make an excellant meat stick too. I think you could cast a 2 pound lobster with it, it is that tough. It hauled in my 31 1/2 lb stiper from the ditch in a 5 knot current no problem. I cast 4-5 oz jigs with it out about 90-100 yards. It will just about begin to load at 3 1/2 oz but that is about the lowest I would throw with it. I don't know what the upper limit is, but it's at least 12 oz I'd say.
