cruised the beach today...southside was dirty (they said NW on the weather but it was SW) but wasque looked like the bahamas, really nice...did not bring a rod (very dangerous move) but saw a couple vehicles with rods and they were doin more lookin then fishin. Heard of a guy who got 20 schoolies a couple days ago in the surf. I have been lookin thru my gear today....have it spread out over the garage. Need another day (or two) to organize it for the upcomming season. Surf stuff, boat stuff, stuff I will hardly use, ect. Picked up my reels from winter service and dropped them off for new line. By mid next week I should be ready for my first surf trip. I will go twice a week till they show good...then almost every night. ( I am lucky in that I can go for 2 hours of prime time and be in bed next to the wife before midnight. ..I might smell a little funky but she is use to it by now...in fact I think it turns her on... talk about a win-win...but that is another story)

Should have named the new pup digger, this dog can dig, I need to teach her to sniff out softshells and I will be in like flint.
