Yeh, I know, and I don't agree with a lot of their veiws and takes on things. But that's why I'm focusing on their smaller number at one million pounds as more likely to be realistic. Again, I'm not anti-commercial but I'm against abusive practices. Guys like the Cape Cod Hook and Line guys do not typically practive abusive and destructive methods and are a fine example of commercial fishing. (Keep in mind it's really hard to classify what I feel is good & bad or at least responsible commercial fishing in a caouple paragraphs ). Sadly the numbers out their on actual bycatch aren't accurate no matter who puts the survey together.
