nor-easter, loosen your drag!...you have misunderstood my post, Read it post again, I was not trying to stir anything. Just understand the law.

My question was in regard to your statement about free land and in effect tresspassing, which I assume was in reference to the states early law about being able to walk on the "wet sand" (between high and low tides) if you are fishing or fowling. If it is an enforced state law, (which I think it is) it should apply to anyplace in the state, not just cuttyhunk. All MA islands. I called the the att'y general office to get more details this after getting some useful respones from other (more polite) members. They will be sending me some add'l info.

There really is no need to respond in such a hostile manner.
