The entire canal is one big hole. Get some herring (dead or alive).
Go to Buzzards Bay. Park in the parking lot by the railroad bridge.
Theres a "hole" right near the bridge and the current flows in from Cape Cod bay (a "west" tide). Start chumming that hole and you should be able to catch a few, especially in the next couple of weeks. The entire strech from the railroad bridge to the Bourne bridge should be producing big fish the next couple weeks. Get there early (before sunrise) and try plugging and jigging until your arms get tired.
