Good to see everyone, but having been out late Friday night and itching to hit Westport today, I blew off any fishing. My friend Drew had the hot hand today with a couple nice 20 lb fish on my 4" split tails of all things, but that's what they wanted today, drifted on a 1/2oz Owner in 15-20 foot. Then I got the itch to go look at that infamous Island across the way, figuring a NW even blowing hard wouldn't be too bad. Didn't take long and I think I wet my pants several times looking at all those sweet bolders around the sow and pigs, oh my god was that sweat water. For all the nice cover and a good current, we had better fishing where we came from, but we did pick a few out of there. There were some guides giving us the look, likely not many Lund 19 footers fish those waters
. Too bad the wind went around SW or I'd have stayed longer, but decided to beat feet.
