Thanks for the feedback. I'm really glad to hear you figured out you can cast a spiral wrapped guide. THere are a lot of people who don' tthink it is possible, or that it just won't work. THere are also VERY few who build spiral wrapped surf rods, I think because of the fear of casting length reduction. YOu might wanna post your results, as you progress on teh rodbuilding boards as well as on this one here. I'm sure there would be quite a few interested in your results. imo.
