hybrids are usually found in large lakes. They are a cross of the striped bass (Morone saxatilis) and the white bass (Morone chrysops)

I forget what the cross is but if crossing male gametes of one species with the female gametes of the other, you get a palmeto bass (slighlty smaller less aggresive) were is if you take the reciprocal you get a sunshine bass ( larger fish and aggresive) or is it the other way a round??

man, my finfish professor would be pissed if he heard that!

anyway the choppyiness or the lack of is suppose tell the origin of the fish (ie chesapeak bay)
