yeah BW, I came upon a new wrangler with a blown transfer case the other night...he wanted to know how to get ahold of AAA...LOL, I said they won't go past the parking lot..... He wanted to know what was wrong with his jeep, after I figgered it out, he asked, so, can I replace a fuse for that? (serious, too!)
Beach Patrol asked me to tow him out of the way, I pulled him about 50 feet max, kind of a tough pull (?), I check after I unhooked him, yep, HARD tires all around
(Oh, and BTW, he had no tow rope, used mine, musta had no air gage either!) He was ranting and raving about the cost of the repair, till I reminded him he had 7/70 on that chrysler/jeep..... but he didn't want to pay for the tow company to get him off the beach!!!
He was only about 7 miles from the pavement
Dealer should have given him the equipment, and taught him how to drive in the sand.....
