Raider Ron....as I said....call the Derby Chair with any questions! However, since you ask I will make it plain and simple......Not everyone has a commercial fishing license, but everyone has the right to fish recreationally!!!
I wish I could yank 30 stripers a day up onto the beach for every day of the commercial fishing season and pick and choose from all of those fish which ones I would like to weigh in for the MSBA Derby! I on the other hand am only allowed two fish per day so you can see the huge imbalance in the scales of equality there!
No need for the "magic bait" Ron, but realistically, if you can't see the logic that I have laid out here then my further explaining it to you or others will do no good! So here is the short version.....them are the rules....I don't make them, I just obey em'....and they been in place for over 50 years!
