Berkley Whiplash
I just picked up some Whiplash in the 80lb 17lb DIA. flavor. I just put it on my reel (spinning) with 15lb mono backing tied the double Uni knot and I am ready to go. I just have a couple questions.
1.) How long does this stuff last?
2.) I bought it because I am looking for more distance and sensitivity I got the 17lb Dia so I could fill my reel with the 300yds I dont care much about the strength. How much better is whiplash Vs. Mono in the casting Dept.? Will I get much further casts?
3.) I plan on using coastlock snaps at the end of my line since this will be purely for pluggin so is the polomar better than the Uni for attaching the snaps?
I am a newbie with this braid stuff so if you have any other advice that would be great!
