No Kerry didn't state a plan to pull the troops out of Iraq, but he didn't state whether he'll put more in. What we need are a good percentage of allies to help us in Iraq. A few thousands from nations aren't good enough, we need 10's of thousands from those nations. It seem like our boys are serving as target practice for the Iraqis and that hurts because I have friends that are going to Iraq in a year. Atleast in there hopes that, if Kerry were elected maybe they wouldn't have to go. But after graduating from West Point, now it is necessary that they must go.
I think we were on the offensive on the war on terror. We just lost focus due to the war in Iraq. Somewhere out there Osama is parading with his Al Qaeda forces and that leaves a bad taste.
After the war in Iraq is all done with, I believe there is somewhat of an obligation to bring Iraqi immigrants to the homeland. As with all preceding wars, the US took in immigrants which I will use to back up my opinion. If the US happens to take in these immigrants, how safe would homeland security be? Are we actually on the offensive on terror or preparing for the defensive?
