Uh oh....this is disturbing....

Wire line....parachute jigs....umbrella rigs.....this is even worse than I'd feared.....

Nahhh, it's just envy...ya know, Eben, when you think of the alternatives this time of year, there ain't a damned thing wrong with boat fish, I suppose.

Hell, I'd be willing to Indian leg wrassle in the nude with the fat broad who I hear singing around Newport lately for a fish in the 30# class.

On Washington Square.....at noon.

Congrats, never say never. I didn't pick up any 20's today, but if I could weigh them all in, it was a 175lb day. Sweat too not a drop of wind and very agressive fish, nothing over 27inches but when November hits it about keeping the rod bent anyway. This holiday weekend, I'm headed south to see about coralling some of those bigger fish before they get too far south.

I am truly disappointed in you Eben. I expect no less from John. After all he is a former commercial fisherman and is entitled to catch bass from a boat, but you? No, no, no I just can't believe it.

Anyway, I fished this morning and caught fish FROM SHORE WITH A SURF ROD!!!!!

No boat, back in the suds.

Eben, can I have your plugs? You probably won't need them, you can get your tube and worm rigs at Wall-Mart

Only losers use plugs huh. Wait....I think I have become dyslexic.

I also want the Van Staal. No good on a boat. Too light for tubes and worms.

No boat, back in the suds.

And don't listen to Bryan. I had 3 30's. 20 25's and a 20 this morning. Pounds not inches either. So there.

No boat, back in the suds.

Paul, sounded to me like centimeters

its o.k.... remember, Rocks move something like an inch a year on the beach, so in reality you are trolling when your standing on that rock

You're right, spence, this is bad - hey, I know we all get desparate this time of year, so you gotta cut him some slack...

Hell, I've done a little boat fishing myself a few times...it's not like I'm proud of it or anything....but now Eben's trying to rationalize it

Hey, something's gotta be done here....

Friends don't let friends fish in boats.

What the hell. I just bought a new Van Staal and found out it's right handed. I might as well buy some broken surf rods as well.

No boat, back in the suds.
