THEre are quite a few blanks from every manufacturer that will fit teh bill for this type of a rod. I lean towards the FW Bass rods which are used for heavier Spinnerbaits & jigs/pig's. Rods rated from 1/2-2oz will usually work well with up to 5oz - of course your not going to be casting, and one blank will differ from the next.

One of my favorites is the now discontinued Lamiglas Certified Pro XC84MH & H. THey have come out with similar blanks in IM700 series, maybe call Lami and find one that matches these.

I love GUSA's, the C65XH & H are almost exactly the same as the XC's. Also, if you want a really high end blank, the 664 or 704 DHC is imo the BEST Fluke blank for under 5oz. It is a bit stiff & fast, which is how I like them.

St. Croix has a bunch as well, SC2 & SC3 - I'm just not familiar with any specifics.
Another rod which peopl elike for bait fishing & silver bullets is the Lami CGBT781L or 841L. PErsonally, it's too heavy for a BT stick, imo a BT stick should be all graphiote & as light as possible. TEH CBT is a great blank, but imo not for BTing light weights Factory 6620 or 7020.

IF you like Parabolic rods, there are quite a few glass rods to choose from, as well as a few of all graphite blanks which bend like glass - GUSA SW70LM, and a lami Perigee LB841L - which is discontinued.
