heres a pic of a bluefish popper i just made with brass screw eyes and dowels there very easy and cheap to make.i used a dremel rotary tool to cup the mouth of the popper and shape it i hammerd a nail for a pilot hole beacause i did not have any drill bits small enough i filled the hole with epoxy (you can use slow set super glue) and screwed the eyes in and let them set.use a big bit and drill weight holes near the rear and front of the plug. you can epoxy split shot or egg sinkers in these holes if you dont have a lead melting pot. use linseedoil for sealer soak the plug for 5min and let dry for a day. spray paint it the color you want.
