				 | yes, notice the super glue on finger...wire tears it up. I did a search on line (google) under round nose pliers. I'll try to find the address. Like 40 bux |

				 | like mac said, the craftsman ones are no good. the ones i'm talking about are the aluminum ones about 4" long. i think they are called round nose plies. They will work just to make the round bend, but if you squeeze it hard enough while making the tailwrap, you'll snap 'em. i've gone through three of em. they have the lifetime warranty, but it's still a pain to not be able to do any wiring untill you return it. |

				 | Ur plugs a great ur raps suck.i do the same thing till the point of wrapping the wire around the loop. When I get to that point i hook the loop on a chucked up allen key in the vise i grab the wire wit a pair of needlenose vise grips an pulll the plug an wrap it up tight to keep things in place.BM they are called Jewelers pliers.i got a nice old pair bigger than the sears ones at a flea market in a box of old tools for like a dollar. |

				Round Nose Pliers

 I got mine from Jannsnetcraft.
After I received them, I was in the craft shop and happened by the jewelry making section. Thet were there labelled as 'Jewelry' pliers.

I learned this method by trial and error after bruising all fingers and consuming several miles of wire. The secret is the first 45 degree angle before the first twist. You can pull everything up real tight. C2

				 | mac, thanks for the tip.i'm gonna make copies of the pics and hang them up in the shed out back that's one of the many things i'm not doing correctly in my early plug building career. ....

I got a pair of those pliers because of the pair you gave Mike at CC's.
got em from crawford tools. with shipping and all, they were around 31.00

in case anyone's interested, Mike at CC's will be stocking them soon. I'm sure it will be cheaper getting them there.

thanks again Mac. |
