but......
there are some beauties out there. From reading ML's post, it sounds like maybe they have tightened up on what can, and cannot be purchased with them. A couple of years ago, the manager of the food store next to the booze store I work in, was trying to not take them from one of the section 8 moms next door.... she'd go in with the kid.... get a candy bar, give him a $20 coupon, and he'd give her the change, which she immediately bought cigs, and lottery tickets with... and.... with the 5 bucks change from that, come buy a half pint from me
he called the state, and they told him, if it's a food item, you have to take them, and give the change.
I do hope, that has been changed.
