I know that change equals improvement ( most of the time) but I am not digging this that much. Sorry John. Getting more complicated for us old farts. ( i'll be fifty in seven months)

Flap - necessary evil. For security reasons I needed to move to the new system as it is no longer developed. This system offers more speed and security and allows me to implement a lot of the stuff many of you have been asking for...

If you want to look at the different ways of viewing the threads - go into UserCP -> Edit Options -> Thread Display and you can chose from the normal views or threaded views like the old WMI...
Also - an interesting option is the "Quick Reply" if you don't want to load all the smilies, and options and just do a quick text reply...

Quicker to load for the dial up guys, click the pic and they blow up...

Bruce - they are thumbnail images so the system automatically resizes the images to a small 150x150 to show in the thread and if you click on them you can see the full image if you want to. It helps with our low bandwidth brethern...

because its a
THUMBNAIL
with the firefox browser it has a plugin for instant zooming in. very cool tool
ya gotta love PHP very versatile and configurable
nice going JOHN ! question though? non related
to the change really but, i was wondering about
our smilies (animations) and if we can make some
custom ones to add to our collection and/or if in the future
we'll have some new ones.... to play with.

nice new look , but it took me a half an hour to reset my password it would not accept my old no. now i cannot get the smilies , i hope i did not lose my avatar it took 3 hours on sun. to get it on the board
