i use mahogany for needles, stuff is awesome, but you dont need much weight. ask me how i know the first 1/2 dozen needles dropped like jigs. oh well, you live and you learn.

Sudsy.....Larkin Lumber in Hudson, MA has around 5000 board feet of 2x and 1x stock.....they might ship for you also? Nice stuff.

Sudsy jaeger in Belmar on 12 th has the spanish.I think I read somewhere it is used to line cigar boxes.
Its nice wood to work with.light.has lots of pinholes in it.had minimal ill effects from test swimmin a peice that was not sealed.in other words the grain only slightly raised an easily sanded smooth again which is rare..
