This is a message from Rick, not Mikey...
Watch Mikey rehearse being miserable tonight, then celebrate his future life of agony tomorrow.
Only kidding...
Just bought $300 worth of assorted booze and need to start cooking for his rehersal dinner.
How do I always get into these predicaments!!!
I'm off til Tuesday, so who knows what kind of trouble I'll get in.
Good news is that we're staying at the place he's having the reception, so they'll be no off-campus hijinx for us two.
Finally, I need to write a speech that makes mikey look like the Goof Humor man.
Guess it's gonna be a short one.
Well, off to start drinking that $300 worth of alcohol.
Good Luck Everybody...Lord knows Mikey's gonna need it.

Congrats Mikey. Better you than me.
My plans are to raise hell cause its almost fishin time and there won't be time to do it then.
I have GOT to start gettin my stuff in order. Everything has been sittin in the back of my truck since I took it off a cold and dreary November night last year. Scared to see what it looks like, and even worse afraid to open the coolers.

Scramble to get ready for a week in California on business. Leave Sunday, return Thursday night...

then

Scramble to get ready for a week in Mexico on vacation. Leave Saturday, return Saturday.

Figure the stripers should be there about time I get back

Remove the shrinkwrap from the boat Saturday and give her a good thorough cleaning. Install my batteries and get her waxed up on Sunday if the weather cooperates. Get my two portable livewells up and running and line up a few poles. I'm not nearly ready for fishing season yet.

I've got a long list of things I didn't finish last fall.

Good luck Mikey. Getting a wife doesn't mean you have to cut back on fishing. That only happens after she pops out a few kids.

Yard work both days. Trying to get as much home stuff done as possible now so I will be more able to get away later.

Also, will fit in pouring more jigs, can't have enough jigs.

Yard sale to unload 20 years of crap Sat/Sun, kills me to see the weather forecast, but I had to bite the bullet and get it done. Any member coming by gets a 20% discount, stock will be out for sale. Directions are up on the classified and sponser specials boards.

I'd much rather be fishing.

Continuing my never ending battle of the pumphouse. Tank sprung a leak this year, and well, the pumphouse itself needs to be replaced. At least the hole in the ground is still ok.

Celebrating my parents 35th wedding anniversy. They are both cool people and lucky to have each other. Looking forward to Martinsville on Sunday. Hopefully Jimmy won't get put in the wall. The GF is calling me out for some spring cleaning as well. Hopefully I can fit in some time for some holdovers in between.

Headin out to-day for the annual shakedown and tune-up trip! Water temps look good down where I'm going, especially in the late afternoon into evening, I should hit the tide just about right.

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

Wife & I went to Falmouth, Me for weekend. Went up Thursday evening. Nice day yesterday. Woke up this am to Maine police knocking on door telling me my daughter in law was in hospital having our first grand daughter. Rush back to Women & Infants. Daughter in law had 6# 15oz girl "Sara" 50 minutes after we got to hospital.
Going to rest the rest of the weekend. :-) and see grand daughter :-)

Enjoying Life !
