I haven't tied one leader but I do have 110 left from last season. No new hooks on da plugs, but I did turn a couple of plugs this spring, there not done as of yet but I look forward to completing them thou.
I do want to put that new 45 gal eel tank in the ground this week with continuous water feed & over flow holes.

Im still waiting for my new 10' 1 pice casting 2-6oz.MH St.Croix Avid series rod to come in the mail.

Im going to bust out the last 4#'s of vacuumed sealed Striped Bass marinated in Italian dressing & do it up on the grill with some Spinach Fettuccine & alfrado sauce with asparagus spears & top it off with a nice hearty salad and of course some frosty cold one's & some Jack

I cannot wait till there arrival.I cannot wait for that first night before fishing going over & over in my head the repitition of preparing of all my gear & the area Im going to fish that next day.
I can't wait for the the night I go to bed with the anticipation of "gettin there" Getting up @ 03:00 hrs. hearing the birds in the distance as I walk out to my truck in the cold spring air.
I can't wait to see the steam roll off the cool water and remind me of years of the past.
I can't wait to smell the salt air & see the birds take flight over the new morning sky.
I can't wait for that first fishing sun rise and the many more to come............
This is what I can't wait for,the sun rise the solituted & self enjoyment of just being there and catching the fish is just a bonus!

Of corse I can't wait bring it on already

Best of luck to you all & may you all have an Awesome year

Cool

I think I'm ready ...

leaders tied - check
hooks replaced on plugs - check
new line on all the reels - check
all the reels oiled - check
the boat washed & waxed - check
the gas tank full (OUCH) - check
electronics all ready - check
trailer greased, tires full - check
launch sticker on bumper - check
adrenaline sizzling - check

Yep, I'm ready. Now I just need to get some sleep from doing all this so I can go fish!

I think a weeks worth of sleep oughta cover it.

Tight lines to all!

Insanity is a long and winding road ... I think I finally made it there.

Ready for what? It never ends for me, just different types of fishing. WE are aboutto enter a new phase is all. 11 more days of trout fishing then, schoolies, then slightly larger at B-Harbor, the the big beach, then Monomoy and plugging the Elizabeths, etc., etc., it never really ends.

Why even try.........
