I see you live on Cape so I suspect winter moth, which is supose to be bad on Cape. Oaks are the food of choice. I got same problem here, gypsy moth's. House gutters are full up. Several oaks are just about completely defoliated now. Things are crawling all over the house and porch. Comes in cycles. PIA. Paul
