Every time a newbie like me asks for advive, you old-timers always say "hey, go learn on your own, learning new spots and trying them out is part of the fun". So why didn't he do that? He had to lie to them to get rid of them? That doesn't seem indicative of the work ethic you experts are always bragging about.

take some time and read this GENTELMAN spends some serious time at the waters edge. we fish where we fish for a reason
I sometimes show up at a spot a fer hrs before what I know will be primetime and find people there, "hey hows it goin ?" they say slow and I know it will heat up soon. should I tell them to stay ?
P.S. I thought it was a funny story

I knew many of the "old timers" they wouldent have pushed anyone in the water, in fact..Gill G, jack sunday, tony bucci,bob ward, all those guys taught me alot they were never rude........

That was a pretty funny story. I don’t feel bad for them, though. 5-6 hours of catching bloos beats my day yesterday by a long shot.
