Wanted: Used 16-18' Tin Boat, Trailer and Motor (Tiller)
These are probably not hanging around with this crowd, but I've been looking and coming up empty. Does anyone know of someone who wants to sell? I will pick-up. I've been looking mostly roadside and a few marinas around central mass. Are there any other sources on the net or in hardcopy format for New England? Are the Want-Ads worth a look?
Thanks in advance, Chris

How much ya looking to spend? Would a 14' suit your needs? I know of a 14' side console, 25 hp Johnson and tilt trailer that may possibly be for sale for a decent price. If you're interested, I'll talk to the owner.

BigBo, Looking in the $1-2K range. Got an 8 and 9 year old. Wife will go once in a while. I was thinking that 14' may be tight on weight limit, but I'm a boat novice and could be wrong. Does a 500lb limit for a 14' tin sound right? Am I being to conservative here? That skiff link is sweet you sent, I'm looking into that one today - Thanks!
F18 - Greatly apprciated!

Yeah, that one in the link looks to be in fantastic shape for it's age. My buddy's 14' will handle more than what you're looking for. We've had up to six people in that boat. It would also be in your price range. Check out that one down on the Cape, then if you think you'd be interested in looking at the 14', I'll give him a call.

Bo, That sweet boat in the link you sent is sold already
I am very interested in looking at the 14' if your buddy is still interested in selling!
Thanks again, Chris
