Ok - You gotta cut em up the eel - leave 8 in from the tail.
breaka the backbone if you like for more wiggle
Take some meat out of the front where you cut it,so you have some loose skin.
Thread the hook thru it like a sluggo.
Tie the loose skin over the ring that holds the swinging hook right up close to the head of the bob. Use black dacron if you can get it , or something similar.

Now you have an 8 in eel with a kick ass 7/0 ss hook that goes where you want it ,in any kind of weather or water conditions. Store them in a kosher salt/water brine in the freezer. (it will not freeze , but preserves the eel like new for 2 million years ,or until you lose it) Take them out and fish them and just put them back in the brine when you're done.
