#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&, Yes I think I saw that show. The fellow was trying for a world record on some 2# fly rod tippet and was hooking up with 20# fish. I think, I think he was on the cape. I saw him break off three times. These fish I saw were just swimming around with thier mouths open...their upper lip was out of the water along with the dorsal and tail fins. Weird sight to see groups of 50+ fish swimmig like that and you drag a small minnow like plug thru them and it goes unmolested.

Scott, yeah that was what they were doing. I couldn't buy a fish that morning, they looked like basking sharks feeding. It was flat clam in 3-7' of water. Re:bonito I made my first bone trial the other day and all I got were blues. They do pop up here and there but I think there is only one body of fish around here just now. Give it a couple more weeks. there was 2-days of activity with blitzs at times at the famed hotspot but it is not a sure thing right now.

blue, I only had mostly big fish stuff (no teaser) with me as I had to walk a long way.I bet a fly would nab a few of the smaller fish.
