Well, I ONLY have 5 fish in the 30lb range and my best of the year is only one lousy 38lber which I got may 29th, just a terrible year all the way around. I wish I was as good as Cowhunter and Bob, but I guess I will have to settle for the rat 20s and few 30s I have

Most of my rhody fishing this year has been by boat, but there are more good fish this year in the 20-30 range then any in recent memory. Most of the commercials I know down there will confirm this statement fully. Just keep watching the shoreline......

congrats on the fishies, and i like your approach(not bragging about them)

I have a 9' Loomis rod that Dave Hammock built for me at the old Murat shop. Got to be 10 years old. I once caught a 38# bass at Ballston on it. Great blank.
