Same Place, there is a tiny jetty about 30' long that'll be completely out of the water about half-tide. And yes the bar had really moved over farther than you would think. Then it gets deep fast....
For those that want to see an amazing site and heppen to be in the area of Scorton Creek. For several years now in May and early June, you will often find stripers "Tailing" about a couple hours into the dropping tide when occuring around sunrise. Tailing is when the back of the fish, from around the dorsal back, is sticking almost vertical in the water, almost straight up as they are feeding face down. Awesome sight to see. They can be difficult to catch at theese times but the white pearl Queen Cocachoe has worked great then as I would guess the pearl white zoom fluke....
