So far my Saltigas have been problem-free.
While I haven't sent in my Saltigas for service yet after almost 2 years of use (they don't need it yet - but I will this winter), the customer service rep I spoke to last year was very helpful and informed me that Daiwa USA's policy is $15 or so for an annual service. We'll see... |
I always carry a spare spool into the surf so it's a complete deal breaker for me. It wasn't a quality judgement, just an observation.
