I saw

Jimmi Hendrix on the cape one night with a bunch of my buddies. They were all 18 to 23 or4 and I was 15. Mitch Rider and te Detroit Wheels did the opening act. This joint was so full if someone hit and knocked you out you never would have hit the floor. They all looked out and protected me and let everyone think I was just a young looking person in my early twenties. I really had no business being where I was and I distinctly remember being afraid of the surroundings. Thier is more to this story, but people here who know me might get the wrong idea. You know 5th amendment and all.

Oh ya I forgot and this will further date me as a person in my fifties. At the surf in Nantasket, the Kinks along with as an opening act and who were actually the house band, The Pilgrims with Lenny Baker on alto sax who still to this day performs with SHA NA NA!
