ice

anybody seeing any safe ice yet? boston's ice is a joke right now.
north? in the mountains maybe? going skiing sometime this week, wondering if i can look forward to some ice fishing.

I've seen a guy fishing Indian Lake in Worcester twice this week. I think he's pushing it.

As of last week there was close to 6 inches of ice on it. Now I see open water. I know some of the ponds North of Worcester have a little left but I don't risk it for a while.

The only "safe" ice is that that you put in your glass to keep your favorite adult beverage cold, according to my grandmother.

I've been 3 x already this past week. Of course, I'm in western MA. There was 9.5" on a resorvoir in Sturbridge on Thursday. Many Bass (LM) up to 6#. Saw a few nice pike too. One more trip in me on monday before vacation ends. I'll send you a pm.

with the cold weather thats coming the ponds around my area(plymouth) should be firming up nice,before the warm weather we had 6in. almost time to break out them jiggin sticks

todays schoolie is tomorrows keeper,todays keeper is tomorrows cow,practice catch and release!!!.

My wife has a softer touch so not really any more.

The ponds in the Northern Part of my area have about 8 inches of ice and are safe.
