Mr Kav - I'll forgive you because you are a boat guy but Hull Gut is one of the most over-rated places in Mass. Big fish DO get caught there and I know a guy that lurks here that got a 60 very close by but it is more of the exception than the rule... However, there is excellent fishing close to "The Gut" if you're willing to hunt around and look for "fishy" signs & structure you might really enjoy yourself...
