Those MRs were a lot of fun. I had 2 . And I could take on any car on a very tight road. Should have seen the look on one Vet guy's face when I was cornering inside him on the Ponkapog Trail ... Oh BTW, the Supercharged MR2 with underdrive pulleys and a couple other mods ran about 175 horse - lost a couple hundred RPMs but picture 50% more horsepower & tourqe in the same car.....

I used to surf fish out of the Fiero (had a few mods and probably 180-190 horse) by bungie cording the rods on a roof rack for a while but I had to get "responsible" and sell it.


Well - I've been calling around - a Ford REMAN Long Block is $1400...
