Of course this happens plenty in Nature-- although the biggest fish you'd think too smart to eat prey "too" big, esp. like this...

More importantly: unless this is fake or somebody's mount, that's a truly amazing Cow! (Would love to know where approx. on the East Coast she washed up?) Looks to my eyes (usually as accurate as a scale) like a 68 lb. fish, give or take a couple. Looks like a Weakfish (Squet to you NE'ers) around 10- 12 lbs. in it's mouth to me too?

Even if a faked pic, that's quite a days catch for somebody! Think I last saw her on the (then-) Great Backside in Sept. of '98, rolling on & missing my also very large Metal- lip at dawn, looking me in the eye from 15 yards away, & then waving that same broom-tail goodbye!
