Red/White is the classic snook killer... at least that's what I'm told. I f I were you, I'd look up some of the bait down there and copy that. They have bunker, pigfish and "greenies" which look like greenish herring. I'm sure there are many others... tons of bait down there.

Dave, in my limited experience with Florida fishing I have a question, West or East coast?

See in Florida the west coast guys use plugs ( mostly plastic like Mirro-lures) and the east coast guys love jigs and rubber. One of the more popular plugs used to be a darter ( I will post a pic) made by a company called Captain Ahab. It's wood and resembles a Creek Chub darter in yellow clown pattern. I will post tonight. Snookies luv them. Also, is you can find, or hell, you could make some Arbogast Chuggers work well for shnooks too.

DOA rubber works great too, especially shrimp looking stuff.

Make Little Poppers , Caught many Tuna on a small blue Popper in Florida................

Thanks all you guys, your the best, and i really appreciate it.
He will be fishing the west side, gulf, looks like i'm gonna have to make him more than a couple with all the colors and plugs uze guys suggest.
