You can get a wooden darning egg at a craft store, drill it through. Run some leader through it, with a swivel tied to each end. Put a small piece of finishing nail in it to hang the hook of your fly or small jig on. This will aid in aerodynamics. When the egg hits the water, the jig falls off.
