Slip & I were in that general area Saturday night, but the fishing was slow. I nailed a couple 24-27 inch fish on a smoke/glitter 7 inch split tail, rigged weightless on a 7/0 Owner hook. Rigging depends on the depth, current and where the bass are holding. That water is relatively shallow I believe and bait (sand eels) probably isn't that big, so maybe a 6 inch Half Jerk weightless to start. I'm a big believer in smoke, it works everywhere I fish it, but Thill was catching on white Saturday and I think Slip was throwing yellow. If you want to still catch but get lazy, throw an 8 inch grub and vary the jig head/retrieve to alter the depth and zone your fishing .
